Dizzy Dames’ passion for music started in his hometown, Andover, MA, at the age of 10 when he received a drum set for Christmas. Over the years he gained versatility and the ability to collaborate as he played in multiple bands and constantly discovered a love for new instruments. In time, Dames was able to play guitar, bass, drums, keys and ultimately sing lead vocals. As a young adult, Dizzy Dames played shows in the Boston area and other New England cities. In 2014, Dames moved to Los Angeles forming new bands and playing shows with the goal of harnessing his own sound. In 2018, Dames decided to make music independently while being mentored by other successful producers in the LA area. Dames curiosity and drive pushed him to compose, play and write all songs on his last EP “Something Meaningful” and his new album “Cape to the Bay” out August 7th. Dames pulls inspiration from Bon Iver, Tame Impala, MGMT and Washed Out. After a canceled tour in 2020, Dizzy Dames is now releasing new music and touring throughout the US.
